Refund policy

At Tevon, every piece of jewellery is prepared with great care and attention to detail. We want you to be completely confident when purchasing from us. This Returns & Refund Policy explains your rights and the conditions applicable to returns, cancellations and refunds.

1. Standard Jewellery – 14-Day Cancellation Period

For eligible standard, non-personalised products purchased online, you have the right to notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day after you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.

To request a return, please contact us at sales@tevon.co.uk.

Once you have notified us of your cancellation, the goods must be returned to us within the applicable statutory return period.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

2. Our 5-Day Preferred Return Notification

To allow us to deal with your return as quickly as possible, we kindly ask customers to contact us within 5 days of receiving their order wherever possible.

This 5-day preferred notification period does not reduce or replace any statutory cancellation rights that apply to eligible purchases under UK consumer law.

3. Bespoke, Made-to-Specification & Personalised Jewellery

Unless faulty or otherwise required by law, we do not accept change-of-mind returns or cancellations for products that have been made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you.

This may include, where applicable:

  • Bespoke jewellery designed specifically for you;

  • Jewellery manufactured to individual specifications;

  • Engraved or otherwise personalised jewellery;

  • Jewellery materially altered at your request; and

  • Other products that are clearly personalised or custom-made for you.

We recommend checking all specifications carefully before approving or placing a personalised or bespoke order.

4. Return Condition

Eligible returned jewellery must be handled with reasonable care.

Please return the item with its original jewellery box, packaging, diamond or gemstone certification and any other documentation supplied with the order.

We reserve the right, where permitted by law, to make an appropriate deduction from a refund if the value of the item has been reduced because it has been handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

5. Diamond & Gemstone Certificates

Where an IGI, GIA or other laboratory certificate was supplied with your jewellery, the original certificate must be returned with the item.

Loss or damage to certificates may affect the value of the returned item and may result in an appropriate deduction where legally permitted.

6. Return Shipping

Customers should contact us at sales@tevon.co.uk before sending an eligible return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or we agree otherwise, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item.

Due to the value of fine jewellery, we strongly recommend using an insured and trackable delivery service appropriate to the value of the item.

Please do not send jewellery to us without first contacting our team for return instructions.

7. Inspection of Returned Jewellery

All returned jewellery will be inspected after it is received.

We will check the jewellery, stones, setting, hallmark, certificates, packaging and other relevant components before processing the refund.

Where legally permitted, deductions may be made where the value of the goods has been diminished by handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted when inspecting jewellery.

8. Refunds

Once an eligible return has been received and assessed, we will process any refund due in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, additional processing time may be required before the funds appear in your account.

Where required by law, the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option will also be refunded. Additional delivery costs resulting from choosing an enhanced or express delivery method are not necessarily refundable.

9. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your jewellery as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, is faulty, or you believe you have received an incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@tevon.co.uk with your order number and details of the issue.

Your legal rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods are not restricted by the return periods or exclusions stated elsewhere in this policy.

10. Exchanges & Resizing

If you would like to request an exchange or ring resizing, please contact us at sales@tevon.co.uk.

Availability, charges and timescales may depend on the jewellery and the work required.

If an item is altered or personalised at your request after purchase, this may affect whether it can subsequently be returned for a change of mind, subject always to your statutory rights.

11. Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order before dispatch, please contact us immediately at sales@tevon.co.uk.

We will try to accommodate cancellation requests where possible. However, where work has begun on a genuinely bespoke, made-to-specification or personalised item, cancellation rights may be restricted or excluded where permitted by law.
