Terms of service

Last updated: 7 September 2026

Welcome to Tevon.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tevon website and your purchase of products and services from us.

By accessing our website, placing an order, requesting a bespoke product or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. About Us

This website is operated by Tevon.

Throughout these Terms, the terms "Tevon", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the business operating the Tevon online store.

Business location: Stanmore, United Kingdom
Email: sales@tevon.co.uk
Website: tevon.co.uk

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not use our website:

  • For fraudulent or unlawful activity;

  • To interfere with the security or operation of the website;

  • To introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;

  • To attempt unauthorised access to our systems;

  • To copy or commercially exploit our website content without permission; or

  • To provide false or misleading information when placing an order.

We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to our website where reasonably necessary to protect Tevon, our customers or our systems.

3. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and pricing displayed on our website are accurate.

However, jewellery is a highly detailed product and images displayed on screens may not represent the exact appearance, colour, scale or proportions of a product.

Natural characteristics and minor variations may occur in gemstones, diamonds, precious metals and handcrafted jewellery.

Product photographs may be enlarged or shown close-up to display detail and should not necessarily be interpreted as representing actual size.

Please refer to the measurements, dimensions, carat weights and specifications stated on the relevant product page.

4. Diamonds & Gemstones

Where applicable, our jewellery may contain natural or laboratory-grown diamonds and other gemstones.

The relevant product description will identify the type of stone supplied.

Where a diamond or gemstone is sold with an independent laboratory certificate, such as an IGI or GIA certificate, the grading information stated on that certificate is provided by the relevant independent laboratory.

Tevon does not control the grading methodology or independent opinions of third-party laboratories.

Where certification forms part of the product, the certificate should be retained safely by the customer.

5. Carat Weight

Diamond and gemstone weights may be stated individually or as a total carat weight.

Where a product contains multiple stones, the stated total carat weight may represent the combined approximate weight of those stones.

Minor tolerances may occur where appropriate due to manufacturing and stone-matching requirements, provided the product remains consistent with its description and applicable consumer law.

6. Precious Metals & Hallmarking

Our product descriptions will specify the precious metal applicable to each product.

Where UK hallmarking requirements apply, products will be hallmarked in accordance with applicable UK law.

The appearance of precious metals may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, finishing and normal wear.

7. Ring Sizes

Customers are responsible for selecting or providing the correct ring size when placing an order.

We strongly recommend confirming your ring size before ordering, particularly for bespoke, engraved, eternity or personalised rings.

If you are unsure of your ring size, please contact us before placing your order.

Some rings may not be capable of being resized due to their construction, stone setting or design.

Where resizing is possible after delivery, additional charges may apply unless the resizing is required because the goods do not conform to the contract.

8. Bespoke & Made-to-Specification Jewellery

Tevon may offer bespoke, customised or made-to-specification jewellery.

This may include jewellery created according to customer-selected specifications such as:

  • Diamond or gemstone specifications;

  • Design modifications;

  • Metal selection;

  • Individually requested dimensions;

  • Personalised design elements;

  • Engraving; or

  • Other customer-specific requirements.

Customers are responsible for carefully checking and approving the specifications supplied to us.

Where legally applicable, goods made to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the normal statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.

This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

9. Engraving & Personalisation

Customers are responsible for checking all engraving text, spelling, dates, initials, symbols and other personalisation instructions before submitting an order.

We will manufacture or engrave the item based on the information supplied and approved by the customer.

Where we correctly follow the customer's instructions, we will not normally be responsible for errors contained in the information supplied by the customer.

Personalised or engraved products may not be eligible for change-of-mind cancellation or return where the applicable legal exception applies.

10. Orders

Submitting an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.

After placing an order, you may receive an automated acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order.

An acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before acceptance where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable;

  • Payment cannot be authorised;

  • There is a material pricing or description error;

  • We reasonably suspect fraud;

  • Delivery restrictions apply; or

  • We cannot reasonably fulfil the requested specification.

Where we cancel an order after payment has been taken, any amount due back to you will be refunded.

11. Prices

Prices displayed on our website are shown in the currency indicated on the website.

Applicable taxes will be dealt with as shown during checkout and in accordance with applicable law.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed before completion of your order.

We may change prices at any time, but changes will not normally affect orders that have already been accepted, except where permitted by law.

12. Pricing & Website Errors

Despite our reasonable efforts, occasional pricing, specification or website errors may occur.

If we discover an obvious error affecting your order before it has been accepted or dispatched, we will contact you where appropriate.

We may offer you the opportunity to proceed using the correct information or cancel the affected order.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Payment

Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.

Payments may be handled by Shopify Payments or other third-party payment providers.

We may carry out or facilitate reasonable fraud-prevention and payment-verification checks.

14. Fraud Prevention & Verification

Because fine jewellery can involve high-value transactions, we reserve the right to carry out reasonable security and fraud-prevention checks before dispatching an order.

We may contact you to verify information relating to an order where reasonably necessary.

Orders may be delayed or cancelled where we reasonably believe that a transaction may be fraudulent or unauthorised.

15. Delivery

Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery times will be provided during checkout or otherwise communicated to you.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Bespoke and made-to-order jewellery may require additional manufacturing time.

We will take reasonable steps to deliver orders within the agreed or legally required timeframe.

Please ensure that the delivery information supplied to us is complete and accurate.

16. Receiving High-Value Jewellery

Some deliveries may require a signature or other delivery confirmation.

Customers should inspect their parcel after receiving it and contact us promptly if there appears to be damage, tampering or an incorrect item.

Please contact sales@tevon.co.uk with your order details if there is a delivery issue.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.

17. Returns & Refunds

Returns, cancellations, exchanges and refunds are governed by our separate Returns & Refund Policy together with applicable UK consumer law.

For eligible standard, non-personalised online purchases, statutory cancellation rights may apply.

Certain bespoke, personalised or made-to-specification products may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms or our Returns & Refund Policy limits your statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

18. Jewellery Care

Fine jewellery should be handled and maintained appropriately.

Depending on the product, exposure to chemicals, impact, excessive force, unsuitable cleaning methods or normal wear may affect the jewellery.

Customers should periodically inspect jewellery, particularly stone settings, clasps and other components subject to wear.

Where appropriate, we recommend professional inspection and cleaning.

Normal wear and tear does not necessarily constitute a manufacturing defect.

19. Repairs, Resizing & Alterations

Please contact us before sending jewellery to Tevon for inspection, resizing, repair or alteration.

Where jewellery has been altered, repaired, resized or otherwise worked on by an unauthorised third party, this may affect our ability to determine the cause of subsequent damage.

Nothing in this section removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.

20. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the Tevon website—including branding, logos, product photographs, graphics, designs, text, videos and other content—is owned by or licensed to Tevon and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, commercially exploit or otherwise use our protected content without prior permission where such permission is legally required.

21. Reviews & User Content

Where you submit a review, photograph, testimonial or other content to us, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.

You must not submit unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, infringing or abusive content.

Where legally permitted and subject to applicable privacy requirements, you grant us permission to use content that you intentionally provide for publication or promotional use.

22. Third-Party Services

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, delivery companies and social-media platforms.

Third-party services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Tevon is not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

23. Privacy

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use and protect personal information.

24. Our Responsibility to You

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

  • Any matter for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

25. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control where the law permits.

Such circumstances may include significant courier disruption, natural disasters, governmental action, infrastructure failures or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of such circumstances.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, services, website or applicable law.

The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in force when the relevant contract is formed.

The latest version will be published on our website.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

28. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.

29. Third-Party Rights

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these Terms do not give any third party the right to enforce any provision under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

30. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections available to you under the laws applicable where you live.

Nothing in these Terms removes any rights relating to the courts or dispute-resolution procedures that cannot legally be excluded.
